I hope you all enjoyed the beautiful weekend! I spent some time working on samples for the retreat, compliments of PINTEREST! For those of you who aren't using Pinterest, you have to take a look at it. I have never been good at keeping up with Facebook, but I sure am hooked on this new social media.
As scrapbookers, it's a perfect fit! You create electronic "Pinboards" to "Pin" things of interest, from recipes to quotes to scrapbook page ideas. The beauty of it is that it makes it so easy to find things because you just have to click on a thumbnail picture and it takes you right to the page with the recipe, directions, etc. Unlike bookmarks which are just a title, this has the picture to make things so much easier to find. The downside is that you can get carried away and lose track of how much time you're looking at fun things and "Pinning" them!
So, thanks to some ideas from people who are much more creative than I am to jumpstart my projects, here are some samples for the upcoming retreat. I'm going to try to attach the original idea to give them credit...
